Can you believe it, 50 years ago The Donna
Reed Show debuted on ABC.
This was a show you just had to like. The Donna Reed Show was the story of the Stone Family headed by Dr. Alex Stone who had an office right in the house. Stories revolved around the Stone children and Dr. Stone's patients. In the first season we meet a young boy who doesn't like military school, one of Mary's boyfriends gets a crush on Donna and a very touching Xmas episode. The most impressive part of this DVD collection is the video quality, at least 40% better than what we remember it from Nic at Nite in the 80's. Donna Reed Show Season One is a real winner |
