Here Come The DoubleDeckers
September 12, 1970 - September 4, 1971

Scooper - Peter Firth
Brains - Michael Anderson
Billie - Gillian Bailey
Sticks - Bruce Clark
Spring - Brinsley Forde
Tiger - Debbie Russ
Doughnut - Douglas Simmonds
Albert - Melvyn Hayes

This show featured a septet that met in a London Bus clubhouse, a sort of Limey update of the Little Rascals film troupe.

Scooper was the unofficial leader of the occasionally mischievous gang, while Albert was the only regular adult in the cast.

Variety said of the show, "It is low farce, but very substantial fare against the on-dimensional characterizations of the cartoons. It also has a uniquely refreshing score -- no rock."
